We had an awesome time in the ani-manga interest group. anime is animation and manga is japanese comics. put the two together and you've got ani-manga, or a combination of animation and comics like "sailormoon". ; we got to meet a lot of really neat people with similar interests. we all made several new friends. we were introduced to a bunch of new manga too, like tokyo mew mew, naruto, yu yu hakusho, and inuyasha. it was fun to read and talk about the manga and anime we enjoyed with others who liked them. watching the anime movies was also very cool. we watched several of miyazaki's films and inuyasha, the movie 3. one of the things we had the most fun with was the mural we painted. it was a lot of fun to be able to draw and display our favorite characters and get more people interested in animanga. the best thing was the trip we took to san francisco's japantown for the anime festival. it was incredible to see all the people dressed up as their favorite characters. the food was wonderful too, if a little bit hard to eat with chopsticks. the group was a great way to meet new people and discover more cool manga and anime. if you like anime and manga, you'll love this group! we draw, watch, read, and discuss anime and manga. all girls who have an interest in anime or manga are welcome.
